The NumberNine, The Fool and The Fandoms

Here we are with another podcast from Mr NumberNine and The Fool. In this episode the pair look over their favourite teams and how their personal fandoms influence their view on the world of sport. You get to hear the story of how NumberNine came to support Manchester United, and how The Fool was the OG big club supporter, before going hipster and picking up support of Chelsea before it was cool.
 
In addition, don't forget that we are nearly at the start of the NFL season, and we are starting up our NFL Fantasy Football Draft League once more. As announced already, the draft has been set for Friday 2nd September, at 9pm NZT. Currently all 10 of last years teams have returned, but we are keen to expand the league. Ideally we need at least 2 or some other even number of new teams to consider expansion to avoid any Mr. Average in the league. We have opened up applications for joining on our discord, so come to chat and let us know if you are keen to join the league!

The Season Nine Fantasy Premier League Live Draft Episode

The NineSixFourTwo collective has another podcast out. This time we have the recording of our Live Fantasy Premier League Draft night last Friday evening (NZST). In this episode NumberNIne and The Fool are joined by long time NineSixFourTwo fantasy players and listeners, Ricky (Dewtastic) and Casey, as well as newcomer Riyadh (Sneaky Pete).
 
We have about 10 minutes of preshow, then 1 hour of draft action. After the draft we have about 50 mins of reaction and everyone's thoughts on the Premier League action ahead, including a lot of poor predictions on the results of Game Week 1.

It is that time again where European Football starts back up, and NumberNine and The Fool are also back with a new season! Once again the duo start the season off with the traditional look at the transfer window performance of all the English Premiership teams.

It is the end of another season, and NumberNine and The Fool present the end of season grand finale! The pair review the EPl season and discuss their favourite moments from the 2021/22 EPL season.

The World Test Championship and the Black Caps Tour of England

NumberNine and The Fool are back with another podcast, this time looking into the gentleman's game of test cricket. The pair preview (the now completed) first test between England and New Zealand, as well as cast their eye over season two of the world test championship.

World Cup Qualifiers and Other Footballing Matters

A little late, but here is the latest podcast from Mr NumberNine and The Fool. This week we discuss the last 3 qualification spots for this years World Cup in Qatar, including the Mighty All Whites and their qualification game against Costa Rica. 
We also discuss our predictions for the final week of the EPL (which has now finished, so you can make fun of us for our inaccuracies). We then look at the richest game in football, the promotion qualifier out of the championship between Nottingham Forrest and Huddersfield. Then lastly, as normal, we take a trip to Mou-Watch.

The Second NZ Sports Podcast

To make up for The Editors slackness in getting episodes edited and released here is another of the episodes that were recorded before NumberNine was on holiday. As you can hear in the intro, this episode should have been released later March / Early April in time for Easter, but better late than never as they say.
 
In this episode NumberNine and The Fool further delve into the oval ball codes in NZ and Australia, looking into Rugby Union, Rugby League and even a tiny bit of Australian Rules Football. They also look over the mostly finalised Silver Lake deal that the New Zealand Rugby Union has agreed in principle (still being ratified by provincial unions) which now has the backing of the Players Association.  The pair discuss why this is a better deal, and also discuss the state of Super Rugby in NZ and Australia, as well as a bit on the state of world rugby. Then the world of NRL is examined, and the upcoming season through the eyes of one-eyed Warriors fans (albeit before the recent spat of games).

Football and the run up to the end

Welcome all, we are back with another podcast looking at the wonderful world of Football, English, Spanish and Italian leagues!
Also many apologies for the lack of episodes in the past 6 weeks or so, but life has got in the way. We do have 3 podcasts that were meant to be released, and hopefully will get all 3 out soon. This is actually the last of the 3, but the first to be released.

EPL Update and Club Ownership Models

NumberNine and The Fool are back with another Football-based podcast. This was actually recorded at the same time as the previous one that look just at the issues surrounding Chelsea. In this podcast the wider EPL table, and upcoming games are examined. Due to the fact that during recording we talked a lot about Chelsea, we also got deep into club ownership and what that means for different football (and other sports) clubs.
 
Because of the nature of how this was recorded, it maybe useful to listen to the previous episode (War, Politics and Football) before listening to this one, as this is sort of a Part 2 to that.
